Sincere Gratitude

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who contributed in street donation collection program despite the cold and rain and to the kind people of Sendai who donated for this great cause. Through our 4 days of donation collection in different places around Sendai, we were able to collect ￥3,481,963. This money will be sent to a local NGO in Nepal which is directly working to provide relief to the victims of the earthquake.
これまで仙台市内の一部で4日間に及ぶ募金活動を行って参りました。雨の中、そして寒い中にもかかわらず、我々の募金活動にご支援・ご協力くださった方々には、この場をおかりし、深く感謝申し上げます。そして、多くの義援金をお寄せくださいました皆様方の温かいお気持ちには、心より厚くお礼申し上げます。 4日間を通して皆様からお寄せいただきました義援金は、総額で3,481,963円となりました。お預かりしました義援金は、被災地現場で震災被害者の救援活動を行っているネパールのNGO団体を通して、被災者支援に役立てられます。

We are also planning to work to on other short and long term projects to support the victims of the earthquake. Next, we will organise a Nepali booth at Tohoku University International Festival, which will be held on May 24. Here, we will introduce Nepalese culture and inform about the current situation in Nepal enlarging network of humanitarian support.
また、今後は、募金活動以外でも被災者支援活動を行っていく予定です。5月24日には東北大学国際祭りが開催予定ですが、その会場にてネパールのブースを設置します。当日はネパールの現在の被災状況を紹介し、震災支援活動の輪を広げていきたいと考えています。このブースの詳細については追ってお知らせいたします。
Amid news of another strong earthquake we hope that everybody in Nepal is safe and will bounce back soon. Lets help rebuild Nepal.
こうしている間にも、さらなる大きな地震がネパールを襲っており、今も予断を許さない状況が続いています。ネパールの一日も早い復興を願い、今後も出来る限りの支援活動を行って参りたいと思っていますので、皆様もどうぞご理解のほどよろしくお願い致します。
